JOE V - I consider you somewhat of an investigative reporter. On behalf of the taxpayers of the Pittston Area School district I request a full investigation into the facts surrounding Bob Linskey's job at LCCC. You have both the resources and the forum to get to the bottom of this. Some questions that demand answers; Was the job ever posted through the normal channels? What part did Ross Scarantino play in securing this position for Mr. Linskey? Was there a quid pro quo agreement? Who were the other applicants interested in this position? Was it applied for internally by a deserved "next in line"? What motions were voted on or not voted on by Mr. Linskey as a member of the school board immediatly before or after recieving this position?

I implore you JOE V. Get to the bottom of this for the sake of the KIDS!

This is an unbelievable web site. I can't believe that people like SusieQ hate Linskey so much they want to get to the bottom of something that other than Ross S's help along with the help of his then running mates and short time friends Oliveri and Adonizio has no bearing on Pittston Area. If Ross was instrumental in getting Bob his job and I am sure he did to curry Bob's favor then Ross was the fool. Bob appears to have loyalty to nobody and I think all the other board members know that by now. Oliveri & Adonizio found out later that Bob has no gratitude to running mates. Terry Best found out earlier when he ran with Bob. Bratlee found out to late that Bob is for Bob. Suzie give it up it's not worth it as no crime was committed other than a crime of misplaced loyalties.
Joe can you please stop posting nonsense from people like BobL. Junk like this is ruining a site that is now looking like the Times Leader Sayso column. SisieQ- why don't you do your own investigation on Linskey? Once again Ross might have had something to do with Linskey getting his foot in the door, but I think Ross thought that Linskey was going to be indebted to him all be under is control for doing so. Answer to that question WRONG. It blew up in Ross's face. Linskey could not be bought. If you attend a school board meeting once in a while you will see clearly who cares about the PA district.
Ratsoneandall, points well taken. I actually do have opinions. Sometimes I am right and sometimes I am not. But I do enjoy posting and I do enjoy having the freedom to post and say what I want to say. I especailly enjoy signing my real name to the bottom of the post. Sorry about stepping on your rights Bob, that was not my intent. I just feel that almost every article in this sight had a comment from you in the last two weeks that I have been reading it. I do honor your rights and your opinions ,it's just that when people have something to say about everything they usually know little or knothing. This is not to say you are not a highly educated man , I don't know you nor have I had the opportunity to speak to you personally but someday maybe we will.
As long as Mr. Singers picture is on this heading, I think SuzieQ should be asking how he got his job in the Public Defenders office. Many courthouse employees know that Ross, Tony R and August Piazza had a lot to do with talking to Skrep to get him appointed there. No one wanted him as a prosecutor because of his rift with Peter Paul and Ross Scarantino needed his vote for some items on the PA agenda is what I have heard. Good Luck on your Quest for the truth.

SuzieQ, MadammVP and DBags69 circle the wagons around the PASD majority, but facts are facts- Ross went down as the captain of the ship. Joe O stumbled, with school board infractions confirmed. It's not over, either- The FBI can wait things out. Once the puzzle comes together, they will pounce. The W-B Area School Board is imploding, and there is no reason to believe it won't happen in PASD, since the talk has been out there for years about the pay-for-position condition. Not to mention the contract handouts. The FBI will prod & poke until someone coughs up a gem. Who's next?

Bob I can't help. How could they come back with nothing. The lawsuits were approved by the board for payment early in 2005 and more in 2007 and some pending now.. These are not minor lawsuits and they are taking my tax dollars and your tax dollars. I believe one of our board members is an advocate and using inside info to steer the lawsuits and using influence to stop the board from fighting back. I'm being told that some of the suits are frivilous and repetetive. Please look harder. You are my taxpayer advocate. And as always look out for the great Grandstanding, all knowing BOB!

enough! there are too many other concerns right now. There are so many other concerns, for example, New sheriff, how about Guanerri? Two new judges, who the heck are they, and why were they chosen? How about all the guns that were sold and to who? Musto, although he would not come out and "endorse" a cantidate, we all know that if you would somewhat associate yourself w/ a hopeful runner, it could mean the difference of a landslide vs a small shortfall.Is there anything out there besides " the same old rhetoric" of he is she, and they are them. Booorrrriiiinnngggg! Lampman - write a succinct piece on how your team differs from the current majority. Try and articulate what we might expect in terms of direction or misdirection from current majority and what the minority (your team) can do to counter. Tell people why you are such a target, and why BN (I think) was bullet- voted to knock you out. And then, stand down for awhile.

The more you post, the more your fan club detracts from more important issues. It appears that the powers that are here will continue to let others engage in personal attacks on you. Fire back if you know who these classy bloggers are.
