Feds squeezing hard, local official stands his ground

Feds squeezing hard, local official stands his ground
This past week we heard from a multitude of sources that two high ranking county officials and former Pittston Area Board members have turned down federal plea agreements.
The feds have one official for accepting a laptop computer in exchange for giving preferential treatment to that vendor.
This official said “thanks but no thanks.”
It looks like the feds want him to rat out another judge who happened to be in Atlantic City this past week.
The problem, if in fact he did accept a laptop, is it was an old laptop that was about to be discarded.
Plus, this one official really has no information on the judge.
But as we all know the feds have unlimited resources and will squeeze and squeeze until there’s no more squeezing to be had.
Which brings us to William Maguire of Mountaintop.   He was the second member of the Luzerne County Housing Authority to be indicted.
As stated in the past, the common denominator in this and all to come is a Wilkes-Barre engineer.
This engineer wore a wire and had no less than 25 officials throughout the county on tape.  It looks like at least a third of those 25 are from Greater Pittston
Hold on tight cuz we’re goin’ for a ride!

The cage goes into the water... you go into the water... the sharks in the water... our Shark... Farewell and adieu, to you fair spanish ladies. Farewell and adieu, you ladies of Spain. For we've just received orders, for to sail back to Boston. And so nevermore, shall we see you again.

So he says... Do you really think he would tell you if he knew something? Why would he?
They all lie until the end and some still lie even after thier brought down - take Ciavarella, for example.
