With Rome's atty, its about the egregious fees This past week I finally figured out why Attorney Cynthia Pollick (Tom Rome’s attorney) subpoenaed me to testify in the federal civil rights lawsuit against Pittston Area.

Yep, she wants your hard earned green back. I’ll get to that later.
You see, while some may think it’s a crime for what Pollick does, one could easily figure out its sorta legalized extortion.

State Rep Mundy
Rep, Mundy announces important date change State Representative Phyllis Mundy's campaign has announced an important date change for its upcoming Cocktail Reception at Fox Hill Country Club honoring Representative Mundy.
Fox Hill has notified the campaign that they double booked their facility and cannot accommodate the event as originally scheduled. The new date for the Cocktail Reception is Thursday, September 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Fox Hill Country Club.

This past week I was in Florida. A good friend of mine and I went into a gold and coin dealer shop - very similar to Jimmy Dennis’s shop.
The owner told us something that kinda scared the hell out of me.
He said that a national gold dealer stopped by looking for inventory – gold. Not gold jewelry, but gold bullion, specifically gold coins. What actually scared me is that the national dealer was willing to pay above the going rate.

Fall "Blogfest" set, Lisa Bodnar to perform Since our spring “Blogfest” was such a success, fellow blogger Gort and I have decided to do a fall “Blogfest.
Yes, bloggers from throughout NEPA will be in attendance and this will be another chance to meet the faces behind the computer.
It will be again held at Rooney’s Irish Pub on Main Street in Pittston on Friday, September 17th starting at 5:30.
There will be another special treat. Starting at 8:30 singer songwriter Lisa Bodnar will be performing.
