John Watson passes, remembering “Chickie”

I can’t remember the last time I saw John “Chickie” Watson. It had to be five years ago or more, when he was living in Florida or Colorado. He came in for the John Allan golf tournament and we had a couple beers at Cooper’s.
Things were a little uneasy between us at that point. We clashed over politics and the state of the Dispatch.

DeAngelo deesn't know where Avoca is
Again, while enjoying my egg white Big Breakfast at McDonalds this past week, I had another conversation about a new Wyoming Area Ticket forming consisting of Jerry Stofko, John Bolin, John Marrianacci and yes, Nick DeAngelo.
As you may know, DeAngelo won a Democratic nod while Kim Yochm grabbed a Republican. The two will square off in November
