Goldsworthy responds to story in TL
EDITOR'S NOTE:   In response to yesterdays article regarding a campaign contribution from Dr. Harry Alexanderian, Mayor Bill Goldsworthy has issued the following response.
   As I all ready mentioned yesterday, yes I received a donation from Harry Alexanderian and yes he was convicted of a crime in the past. Now the rest of the story. Harry is an 83 year old man, who made a mistake in the past, paid a very large fine, gave up his medical license, was embarrassed in the community, and has completed all of his punishment. Bernardi contract causes stir at Wyoming Area meeting

   There’s a saying in business: A happy customer tells a friend; and an unhappy customer tells everyone.
   The same is true in politics as well:  A happy voter/taxpayer tells a friend; and an unhappy voter/taxpayer tells everyone.
   Next, Wyoming Area’s Board meeting can be summed up as a “train wreck.”
   And, the majority of the 50 plus in attendance Tuesday night, were “not happy campers.”
   It all centered around the renewal of the Superintendent’s contract and the hiring of two board members wives
   For those board members who thought there would be minimal fallout, here’s Candice Kelly’s lead to the lead story on WBRE (click here to view).
   “It didn’t take long for history to repeat itself.  There are claims of another corrupt school district in Luzerne County,” Kelly said on the 10:00 and 11:00 news.
