West Pittston Mayor Bill Goldsworthy definitely has his work cut out for him in his bid against State Representative Phyllis Mundy.
First, Democrats out number Republicans 55% to 45%.
Next, Tim Mullen, is the Libertarian candidate.

With a little more than a year to go, many are getting their ducks lined for a seat on the bench.
Some are saying this is the time for District Justice Fred Pierantoni to step up.

Senate petition challenged
I think all are in agreement Greater Pittston will decide the outcome of who will be replacing Senator Musto.
Right now we have State Rep John Yudichak, Wilkes Barre Mayor Tom Leighton and Pittston Twp resident Michael Saporito.
My thought is Yudichak and Saporito felt no one from the Third District would be throwing their hat into the ring.
That was until Saporito reared his head
