BREAKING NEWS: Former Pittston Area engineer files for bankruptcy
The Times Leader is reporting the CEE group will be filing for bankruptcy.
Please recall this was the engineering firm that messed up big time on Pittston Area’s heating and ventilation contract under the recent high school renovations.
At one meeting, former Pittston Area Board member, then President, Joe Oliveri said the district would have had to pay the extra amount anyway if it were sized and designed correctly.
Pittston Area settled for $725,000 to cover the repairs to the system. The firm also agreed to forgive $40,000 still owed by the district.
