Oliveri, Scarantino, Singer & Linskey |
| PA Board needs to rid black eye I was disappointed at December’s Pittston Board meeting.
I really thought Bob Linskey would have attempted to push through his idea to have the work session on a different evening than the regular meeting.
What’s the worst that could have happened? The vote could have gone down majority/minority lines. And, if that happened, what a great issue for the next election.
As we wrote a few weeks back, this is actually a good idea.
Like it or not, Pittston Area has a black eye. This black eye will haunt the district for decades.

No one understands the mess we’re in better than our newest County Commissioner Tom Cooney.
You see, Cooney has been in private business for quite a while running one of the leading architectural and engineering firms in the valley.
Cooney, year after year, understood that if his firm could not bring in the revenues to support the expenses, he was left with two choices.
One, cut expenses. Or two, borrow money Read More ... Joe Valenti - 1 opinion posted |

 Obama |
| Obama is one sharp cookie You know our President.
Yea, President Barack Obama.
He’s so freakin smart it scares me.
This past week, all by himself, he figured out that Al Qaeda was responsible for the Christmas day attack.
Or, should I say, as Obama put it, “alleged attack.”
Golly, this guy is so sharp.
Careful too.
Up until this past Friday he used “alleged” any time he referred to the terrorist. Read More ... Joe Valenti - 14 opinions posted |
