Joe Oliveri & Jeff Piazza |
| Connecting the dots with PA, WVW and the Vo-Tech With the indictment of Jeff Piazza, will more follow?
While I’m having a tough time connecting the dots, my thought is that Wyoming Valley West is somehow connected as well.
Eighteen months ago, Valley West decided to pull board representation from the West Side Career and Technical School (WSCT aka the Vo-Tech).
Their rationale was because they sent more kids to the Vo-Tech than any other district, they should have more representation.
Each participating member of the Vo-Tech has three representatives from each school district sit on the Vo-Tech board. Read More ... Joe Valenti - 13 opinions posted |

 Alberigi & Bolin |
| WA to reorganize The Wyoming Area Board will be reorganizing this week.
A couple of weeks ago, we predicted Dave Alberigi would be appointed President.
We still think this might happen, however, because John Bolin was the high vote getter, we may see him take the reigns at WA. Read More ... Joe Valenti - 5 opinions posted |

 Augello & Cosgrove |
| We can be proud with these two There is good news for the Luzerne County Courts and Greater Pittston.
It looks like Pittston native Joe Cosgrove will be one of the court’s new jurists.
The other good news is that Pittston’s own Judge, Joe Augello will be the new President Judge replacing Chester Muroski.
This is truly a breath of fresh air for our area. Augello, like Tom Burke stayed above it all during the Ciavarella and Conahan scandal. Read More ... Joe Valenti - 1 opinion posted |
