State investigating Exeter sewer project
Something stinks in Exeter!
According to a letter (click here to view) sent to Exeter Borough, the State Auditor General is looking for documents pertaining to a sewer project performed in 2008.
The letter, signed by Special Investigator Edwin Tyler, is requesting the following documents “relative to the sanitary sewer construction work done on Orchard Street in 2008”
1. Copies of proposals from contractors for the Project
2. Copies of invoices for purchases made by Exeter Borough for the Project;
3. Copies of cancelled checks for all disbursements made relative to the Project: and
4. Copies of Borough minutes for the period July 2008 through January 2009. Read More ...
